*Beta test results are based on a 9 month testing period, totaling approximately 965 hours of printer operation per machine with 6 Iris machines running BullDog Ink 4 Iris and 6 machines running Equipoise. Color control and consistency were the initial focus of the test, and we were as surprised as anyone to discover the added bonus of dramatically increased productivity and greatly reduced maintenance costs. It turns out that the vast majority of operating problems are caused by the ink! Cleaner ink gives you a cleaner Iris.

Equipoise

Designed to bring an optimal balance between longevity and color gamut, Equipoise has set the standard for Iris Fine Art printers. Each set includes 4 colors (CMYK) which provide longevity results with Somerset Velvet of 20-24 years. For longevity results with other substrates please see Henery Wilhelm's site.

Pinnacle Gold

The Pinnacle inks have set a new standard in longevity and color gamut. For the Iris 3047 these inks display a wider color gamut than Lyson, with longevity tests ranked at 65-75 years on Somerset Velvet.
